"They haven't got a Clue" comes from the school musical CIRCUS MYSTIQUE (or Ring around the Circus). It is sung in the story when two completely incompetent detectives (Rick and Rebecca) tell the circus players that they are being accused of being part of passing on insider trading information (i.e., stocks, horse racing, lotteries). The circus players perform this song in defense of their friend Vincenzo who has just been arrested for passing on codes members of the audience.
