O Jesu Mi Dulcissime is a Sacred Symphony for double SATB choir and Organ, and was orignally published in 1615, three years after Gabrieli died. It was written for St. Marks Cathederal in Venice, which had two specially built balconies for antiphonal singing. The two choirs are equal in range and must be balanced, both within themselves and with each other. This edition includes historical and interpretive notes.
