Bridge Square is located at the center of Northfield, Minnesota, the home of St. Olaf College, and like so many smaller cities, it is a place of great activity. Bridge Square March exudes this great energy of community togetherness. Jenna, an accomplished middle school percussionist, has provided the percussion parts for the composition. Thank you Jenna for encouraging your father to write for grade 1 bands. The Standard of Excellence In Concert series presents exceptional arrangements, transcriptions, and original concert and festival pieces for beginning and intermediate band. Each selection is correlated to a specific page in the Standard of Excellence Band Method, reinforcing and expanding skills and concepts introduced in the method up to that point. Exciting parts with extensive cross-cueing are presented for every player.
