Tonally quite advanced for its time, the chart moves from a quasi-samba feel to a double-time swing and back to half-time samba for the close. There is solo space for clarinet. scored on the alto 1 part. too. This chart needs a good singer who can pitch and maintain what is quite a tricky line, as much of the double time section is scored for singer and rhythm section only.
