Switzerland. on october 1st 1989. The idea for the music comes from the thought that whilst a room remains the same, somehow the 'atmosphere' within that room changes according to the ambiance created by actions and emotions of the people in it. For example, an argument can cause an uncomfortable, uneasy atmosphere whereas laughter can cause a light, happy atmosphere in the same place. The place itself remains the same, but the atmosphere changes. So, in this piece there is an 'atmosphere' chord, which hardly changes throughout the piece, except that it is transposed at times. However, what goes on around that chord causes it to apparently change according to the prevailing emotion. There are 3 sections which are quite separate, but the music is played without a break. These 3 sections are really self explanatory. 1 - Mystery, 2 - Evil and 3 - Calm. Mystery. Evil. Clam.

Idén till musiken kommer från tanken att även ett rum förblir densamma, på något sätt "atmosfären" i rummet ändras i enlighet med den atmosfär som skapas av handlingar och känslor av folket i det. Till exempel kan ett argument orsaka en obekväm, orolig atmosfär medan skratt kan orsaka en lätt, glad atmosfär på samma plats. Platsen i sig är densamma, men stämningen förändras. Så, i detta stycke finns det en "atmosfär" ackord, som knappast förändras hela pjäsen, förutom att den införlivas ibland. Men vad som händer runt den ackord gör att det tydligen ändras beroende på rådande känslor. Det finns 3 avsnitt som är helt separata, men musiken spelas utan paus.
