A classic for the wind band, SEA SONGS is a delightful piece to play. But for some reason, the Bass Clarinet part is written. IMHO. too high – almost like a 4th Clarinet part. Most of what it plays is doubled in other voices. saxes, euphonium, etc. and you lose the added sonority of the low register of the Bass Clarinet. This special part puts the Bass Clarinet back in the low register and doubles the Tuba line. Much more enjoyable for your Bass Clarinetist.
